EEG (Electroencephalography)
It is the process of recording the electrical activity of the brain through small electrodes placed on the scalp. It is a painless and radiation-free method.

Recording Process
A standard EEG recording takes about 20-30 minutes. The patient does not feel any pain during the procedure. When necessary, sleep EEG recordings are also performed after sleep deprivation.
EMG (Electromyography)
It is a diagnostic method in which the electrical potentials of nerves and muscles are examined. It is the gold standard in the differential diagnosis of nerve entrapments and muscle diseases.

How is it Applied?
EMG examination can consist of two stages: Nerve conduction studies (with surface electrodes) and needle EMG (by inserting a thin needle into the muscle). The procedure time may vary between 15-45 minutes depending on the area to be examined.
Sleep EEG and Pediatric EEG
Especially in the diagnosis of epilepsy, it may be necessary to see the activity of the brain during sleep. In these cases, the recording is made by ensuring that the patient sleeps in our laboratory.
Pediatric EEG
EEG recording in pediatric patients requires patience and experience. Our team works with special sensitivity so that children can have recordings safely and without fear.
