Includes current approaches to basic care processes such as the physiological needs of healthy or sick newborns, bathing, umbilical cord care, temperature control, and infection prevention.

Provides counseling competence to healthcare professionals on promoting and sustaining breastfeeding, correct breastfeeding techniques, managing breast problems, and strengthening the mother-baby bond.

Training that develops awareness and counseling skills on family planning methods, sexual health, safe motherhood, and reproductive rights with the aim of protecting public health.

Aims to increase donation rates by raising the knowledge level of healthcare workers regarding organ transplantation processes, brain death diagnosis, donor identification, family interviews, and legal regulations.

Ensures that our newly joined colleagues adapt quickly to the corporate culture and physical structure. Additionally, mandatory Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) trainings are completed during the hiring process to create a safe working environment.

To effectively manage potential crisis moments in our hospital, scenario-based drills and trainings are organized for national colored code systems such as Code White (Violence), Code Pink (Baby Safety), Code Orange (CBRN hazards), and Code Red (Fire).

Keeping life-saving interventions up-to-date is vital. All our healthcare staff are given practical training on mannequins for CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support techniques to be applied in case of sudden cardiac arrest.

In addition to effective communication and body language training to increase patient satisfaction, awareness training is provided on patient privacy and legal responsibilities under the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

Within the framework of Healthcare Quality Standards (SKS); trainings on infection control, medical waste management, and hospital cleaning/hygiene are periodically repeated to ensure the sustainability of standards.

Students wishing to intern at our hospital must apply in person or online to the Human Resources department with a student certificate, "Mandatory Internship Form" from the school, ID photocopy, and OHS participation certificate. Applications are evaluated according to the academic calendar.

Internship opportunities are offered within the quota in Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory, Radiology, Anesthesia, Physiotherapy, Medical Secretariat, Corporate Communications, and IT departments.

Our interns work under the supervision of experienced department heads while putting their theoretical knowledge into practice. Compliance with patient safety and confidentiality principles is the most important part of the internship process.

At the end of the internship, students' attendance, desire to learn, and professional skills are evaluated. The internship logbooks of successful students are approved, and grades are reported to the relevant school administration.

As Çakırtepe Hospital, we open our doors to healthcare students from various universities in Europe. Students arriving under "Student Mobility for Traineeships" have the opportunity to gain clinical experience at international standards.

The "Learning Agreement" document signed between the student's home university and our hospital is executed meticulously. The content of the internship, the competencies to be gained, and ECTS credits are determined and approved according to this agreement.

To accelerate the adaptation of our guest students from abroad, we assign English-speaking mentors. One-on-one guidance is provided to help them adapt to both clinical operations and hospital culture.

The Erasmus internship is not only a professional but also a cultural experience. Students who successfully complete the program are awarded an internationally recognized "Certificate of Attendance".
