It is not a single disease. It is divided into two main groups: Non-inflammatory (osteoarthritis/mechanical) and Inflammatory (autoimmune, caused by a malfunction of the immune system).
Persistent joint pain that is especially felt in the mornings, lasting for hours (inability to make a fist), accompanied by joint stiffness, swelling, warmth, redness, and pain that decreases with movement but increases with rest.
Ordinary painkillers do not work for inflammatory rheumatism. Joint erosion is completely halted by using DMARD group medications that regulate the immune system and high-tech Biological Agents (smart injections).
