About the Treatment Method
Aesthetic Application Methods
If the crookedness is mild or moderate, "Fat Injection" is generally preferred. Fat taken from the patient's own abdomen or waist is enriched with stem cells and filled into the depressions on the inner parts of the leg, creating a straight illusion. In case of extreme thinness, calf (calf) silicone prostheses are placed to add volume to the leg.
In stubborn fat accumulations that do not melt with diet or exercise and descend to the ankle (especially in Lipedema patients), the leg silhouette is permanently thinned and shaped using "Vaser or Laser Liposuction" methods.
Since liposuction or fat injection procedures are performed only with cannulas through millimetric holes, there is no visible stitch scar left. In silicone prosthesis operations, a small incision hidden in the natural fold line behind the kneecap is used, and the scar becomes indistinct over time.
