About the Treatment Method
Benefits of Incisionless Ear Surgery
This is its biggest advantage. Since all instruments enter through the natural ear canal (external auditory canal), there is no incision, stitch, or scar behind the ear. A head bandage is also not used after the surgery.
While the microscope provides a straight viewing angle from the outside, angled endoscopes can show the most hidden corners and blind spots of the middle ear with 3D depth. In this way, the possibility of disease recurrence is reduced, and unnecessary bone tissue removal is prevented.
Since there is no incision or bone carving procedure, postoperative pain is much less compared to microscopic surgery. The patient can be discharged on the same day and can return to their daily life in just a few days, provided they protect their ear from water.
