Homeopathy

About the Treatment Method

Homeopathy is an alternative and complementary medical system with a history of more than 200 years, based on the principle of "treating like with like". It is the process of giving the patient a natural substance (plant, mineral, or animal extracts) that creates symptoms similar to the symptoms of a disease, by diluting and shaking it (potentization) many times, reducing it to microscopic, even sub-molecular doses. The aim is to stimulate the body's own self-healing mechanism.

Natural Healing Approach

The logic behind the preparation of homeopathic remedies (medicines).
What does treating like with like mean?

For example, when you chop an onion, your eyes water and your nose runs. According to the logic of homeopathy; when a person whose eyes are watering and nose is running due to a cold or allergy is given a homeopathic "remedy" obtained from an onion and diluted billions of times, the body's immune system is stimulated to overcome these symptoms.

Does modern medicine (science) approve of homeopathy?

Because homeopathic medicines are diluted to the point where not even a single molecule of the main substance remains inside, modern medical and scientific circles argue that this is a "Placebo Effect" and has no chemical therapeutic property. However, the World Health Organization (WHO) defines homeopathy in the category of "Traditional and Complementary Medicine" practices, and it is used as a supportive treatment in many countries.
