Penile Plastic Surgeries

About the Treatment Method

Penile plastic (Penoplasty) surgeries; is the general name for functional and aesthetic reconstructive operations performed by urology and plastic surgery specialists to correct congenital deformities (Peyronie's disease/penile curvature), micropenis condition (thickening and lengthening), or anatomical deformations due to trauma.

Anatomical and Aesthetic Corrections

Techniques used in penile curvature and size surgery.
How is penile curvature (Peyronie's) treated?

In this disease, where hard plaques forming inside the penis bend the penis, causing painful erections or inability to have intercourse, the penis is straightened by placing stitches in the opposite direction of the curvature (plication) or by completely removing the plaque and placing a patch (graft) in its place.

Do lengthening and thickening procedures work?

In the thickening procedure, the patient's own belly fat is taken, enriched with stem cells, and injected under the penile skin; it is highly successful. In the lengthening procedure, the suspensory ligament that connects the penis to the pubic bone is cut, the inner part of the penis is brought out, and a lengthening (visibility) of 2-4 cm is achieved while flaccid.

Do the surgeries affect erection or sensation?

Since fat injection or ligament cutting procedures performed for aesthetic purposes do not damage the spongy tissues (corpus cavernosum) and the nerve network of the penis, they do not impair erection quality or orgasm sensation.

How is the recovery time?

The surgeries usually take 1-2 hours, and discharge is on the same day or the next day. However, due to the healing of the stitches and the risk of infection, it is mandatory to observe sexual abstinence (not having intercourse) for an average of 4 to 6 weeks.
