French Lift (Thread Facelift)

About the Treatment Method

The French Lift is a non-surgical process of suspending (lifting) upwards the cheeks, jawline, eyebrows, and neck areas that have sagged due to aging or gravity effects, by using special medical threads with polyester inside and silicone outside (or completely meltable) covered in barbs. It is a highly potent and natural aesthetic method with a strong lifting effect that can be applied in just 45 minutes with local anesthesia, without a surgical incision.

Non-Surgical Lift Procedure and Permanence

The principle of threads lifting the facial tissue and patient suitability.
Do the threads used melt in the body?

There are two types of threads used. The threads known as the classic "French Lift" (dynamic lift) have a sturdy polyester core and a silicone outer structure; they do not melt in the body, and their permanence is very long. In addition, threads made of "PDO or PLLA" materials, which melt spontaneously in the body within 6-8 months, leaving collagen tissue in their place, are also frequently preferred. Your doctor determines the type according to your skin's needs.

How long is it permanent?

While the effect of procedures performed with melting threads generally lasts for 1.5 to 2 years; the lifting effect of the real French lift application performed with non-melting (dynamic) threads can continue between 3 to 5 years depending on the patient's skin structure.

Will it ruin my mimics, will it be noticeable from the outside?

No, because the threads have a flexible structure when placed in the correct fascial plane, they move along with your mimics. From the outside, the trace, bulge, or stiffness of the thread is not noticeable; you only see the lifted (vigorous) state of your face from 5-10 years ago.

What is the healing process like, will there be swelling?

Since the procedure is performed with local anesthesia, it is painless. For the first few days after the procedure, there may be slight dimpling (pulling), edema, and sensitivity on the lines where the thread passed. This condition usually settles completely within 1 week, achieving a natural and smooth appearance.
