About the Treatment Method
Procedure Application and Duration of Effect
The under-eye area is very rich in blood vessels and nerve networks. Therefore, for a safe and bruise-free procedure, specialist physicians generally place the filler using blunt-tipped "Cannulas" that do not pierce the blood vessels, instead of sharp-tipped needles. In this way, the risks of intravascular injection (serious complications such as blindness) approach zero.
The permanence of the light filler varies between 9 and 18 months depending on the person's metabolic rate. If the cause of the bruise is a "shadow" caused by the depression, the light filler erases this 100%. However, if the cause of the bruise is the capillaries reflecting through thin skin (pigmentation), the filler may lighten the area but may not completely cure it; in these cases, mesotherapy or laser may be additionally required.
