Completion of Missing Teeth
If the jawbone in the area where the tooth is missing has completely melted and is not thick enough to hold the implant screw, or if the patient's systemic diseases do not allow a surgical procedure, dental bridge treatment is the safest and fastest alternative.
Unfortunately, in order for the bridge to hold on, it is mandatory to reduce the two neighboring healthy teeth to a certain extent. Although this process weakens the teeth, the zirconium or porcelain crown placed over them protects them from external factors and prevents them from decaying.
Depending on oral hygiene, tooth brushing habits, and cleaning under the bridges well with special interdental brushes (superfloss), dental bridges can serve without problems for an average of 10 to 15 years.
