Lymphatic Drainage (Pressotherapy)

About the Treatment Method

Lymphatic drainage is a special device-assisted massage (pressure) therapy applied to accelerate the functioning of the lymphatic system in the body and to excrete the edema (excess fluid) and toxins accumulated between tissues. The patient is dressed in a special overall-like garment, and the device applies rhythmic, wave-like air pressure starting from the tips of the feet towards the heart. It is the strongest supporter of cellulite treatment, varicose vein complaints, and weight loss programs.

Edema Relieving Pressure Therapy

The effects of lymphatic drainage on the body and its contribution to weight loss.
Does it make you lose weight on its own?

Lymphatic drainage is not a procedure that directly breaks down fat cells; therefore, it does not burn fat on its own. However, when used while dieting or after fat-breaking procedures like cavitation/liposuction, it gives a massive acceleration to the slimming process by enabling these broken-down fats and retained edema to be rapidly expelled from the body through urine.

Does the procedure hurt, how long does it take?

On the contrary, it is extremely relaxing. Thanks to the pressure waves, patients generally feel a light massage effect and can fall asleep during the procedure. A session usually takes 30-45 minutes. It can be safely applied to everyone except patients with circulatory disorders (deep vein thrombosis) or heart failure.
