About the Treatment Method
Variety of Breast Equalization Operations
This completely depends on the nature of the asymmetry. While volume is added to the smaller breast with a "Silicone Prosthesis" or "Fat Injection", the other (large and sagging) breast can be surgically reduced and "Lifted". Most of the time, to make the breasts completely symmetrical (twins), two different procedures need to be applied to both breasts simultaneously.
It varies depending on the technique used. If only silicone is placed in the smaller breast, it does not damage the milk ducts. While reducing the larger breast, thanks to today's modern surgical techniques, patients are generally able to breastfeed comfortably after the surgery because the nipple is moved while preserving the mammary glands and ducts.
If the patient does not gain and lose an excessive amount of weight (15-20 kg) or experience a pregnancy/breastfeeding period, the symmetrical results obtained maintain their permanence for a lifetime. Even if slight anatomical changes occur with aging, there is no return to the previous severe asymmetry picture.
