If only one testicle has been removed due to cancer or torsion and the remaining testicle is completely healthy, the remaining single testicle alone easily assumes both sperm production and male hormone (testosterone) release. Your sex life, your erectile function, or your ability to become a father will not be impaired.
In order to prevent aesthetic and psychological concerns after surgery, a "Silicone Testicular Prosthesis" in the size and softness of a normal testicle is placed in the space where the testicle was removed, either during the operation or later. Looking from the outside or touching it, it is in no way understood that it is artificial.
