About the Treatment Method
Permanent Erection and Prosthesis Types
There are two main types: 1. One-Piece (Malleable) Prosthesis: It is always hard, but thanks to its bendable metal inner structure, the patient bends the penis downwards and hides it in their underwear outside of intercourse times. 2. Three-Piece (Inflatable) Prosthesis: It has a tiny pump placed next to the testicles. The patient inflates the penis by squeezing the pump before intercourse (natural erection), and deflates it by pressing the button when intercourse is over (natural flaccidity).
Especially three-piece (inflatable) prostheses are absolutely unnoticeable from the outside or through clothing. Since the penis's own skin and temperature are maintained during intercourse, it is extremely difficult for your partner to realize that there is a prosthesis inside unless you tell them.
Absolutely not. The prosthesis is placed only in the erection chambers without touching the nerves that provide the sensation of the penis or the urinary canal that provides ejaculation (semen flow). The patient's sense of touch, orgasm, or ability to have children continues as before.
