About the Treatment Method
Atom Treatment Process and Radiation
The application is extremely simple, just like swallowing a normal pill or drinking water. However, since your body will start emitting radiation after taking the medication, depending on the size of the dose, you are required to stay alone in the hospital's lead-lined special "isolation (radiation) rooms" for 1 to 3 days.
After being discharged from the hospital, you will continue to emit mild radiation for a while. According to the rules form provided; you are generally asked to stay away (1-2 meters distance) from pregnant women, babies, and small children for 1 week, and to use your own belongings, toilet, and cutlery separately.
Since it is not chemotherapy, it absolutely does not cause hair loss. Because iodine is also excreted directly from the salivary glands, it may cause slight swelling, pain, or a change of taste in the mouth for the first few days. Drinking plenty of water and sucking on sour candy/lemon quickly eliminates these side effects.
