Temple Filler (Temporal Filler)

About the Treatment Method

Temple filler is the process of filling and re-volumizing the depressions occurring in the upper lateral parts of the face (the area between the outer part of the eyebrows and the hairline) due to aging, rapid weight loss, intense stress, or genetic structure, with hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. While hollowness in the temples makes the face look skeletal, tired, and aged; this filling procedure instantly restores the oval (youthful) form of the face and the natural lift of the eyebrows.

Eliminating depressions in the temple area and its lifting effect.
Does temple filler pull the eyebrows and eyes up?

Absolutely. The temple (temporal) region is one of the main carrier columns forming the outer frame of the face. When this area collapses, the tail of the eyebrow also drops. When this depression is filled, the skin expands outwards and creates a mechanical lifting effect, noticeably pulling up the eyebrows and the outer edges of the eyes.

Is it a risky area, does the procedure hurt?

The temple region is home to very important arteries (temporal artery) passing near the surface. Therefore, it is mandatory to be performed by specialist physicians who know the anatomy flawlessly, using "blunt-tipped cannulas" that do not pierce the vessels. When a cannula is used, the procedure is almost completely painless, and the risk of bruising is very low.

How long is its permanence?

Since there is no constantly moving mimic muscle in the temple area like around the mouth or lips, the permanence of high-quality fillers (and deep applications made on the bone) placed here can average between 12 and 18 months.
