About the Treatment Method
Heart Palpitation Treatment with Radiation
This method is an absolute last resort. That focus (scar) in the electrical system that causes the heart to contract is so stubborn that it cannot be destroyed by any treatment and causes the patient to be constantly shocked. With special CyberKnife or TrueBeam devices, pinpoint radiation (SBRT) is delivered only and exclusively to that 1-2 centimeter defective focus, burning that part. The rays do not touch other healthy parts of the heart.
The greatest miracle of the procedure is that it is completely "Non-Invasive" (bloodless and incisionless). No needles, wires, or catheters are inserted into the patient's body. The patient lies on the radiation table, the device sends rays to the heart within 15-20 minutes, and the patient gets up from the table and goes home. The tissue producing incorrect electricity turns into scar tissue within days, becoming silent and returning the rhythm to normal.
