Vaginal Bleaching (Laser Genital Lightening)

About the Treatment Method

Vaginal (Genital) Bleaching is the process of breaking down and peeling the excess pigmentation with special carbon dioxide (CO2) or Q-Switch lasers to lighten the color when the genital area (vulva, labia, and groin area) turns into a darker (brown/purple) color than the natural skin color due to aging, pregnancy hormones (estrogen increase), incorrect epilation (waxing) methods, genetic predisposition, or friction caused by tight clothing.

Laser Cosmetic Lightening Procedure

Laser sessions applied against genital darkening and their results.

Before the procedure, quite strong numbing creams (local anesthesia) are applied to the genital area, and you wait for 30 minutes. In this way, during the micro-shots sent by the laser under the skin, generally, an unbearable pain is not felt, only a slight heat and stinging. It causes no harm to the reproductive organs, nerves, or ovaries.

Although it varies depending on the degree of darkness on the skin and the skin type, the desired result is usually achieved in an average of 2 to 4 sessions applied at 3-4 week intervals. After the laser procedure is finished, the skin first becomes slightly red, a few days later a very fine dandruff/peeling begins, and lighter, pink, and fresh skin emerges from underneath. The effect is permanent for many years.
