About the Treatment Method
Volumizing and Shaping
Today, the most medically reliable and widely used filler material is "Hyaluronic Acid". This substance is already a sugar molecule that naturally exists in the human body (in our skin and joints) and has a water-retaining property. It is 100% compatible with the body and the risk of allergy is almost non-existent.
These two are very often confused with each other. Botox "temporarily paralyzes" and stops the muscle causing the wrinkle (e.g., forehead, crow's feet). Fillers, on the other hand, do not freeze anything; they "fill" and plump up sunken, emptied hollows (like cheekbones, cheeks, lips). Excellent results are achieved by using both at the same time.
Hyaluronic acid fillers are not permanent; over time, they are metabolized and absorbed by the body. Depending on the mobility of the applied area (because lips are very mobile, they melt faster; cheekbones are stationary, they melt later) and the density of the filler used, permanence varies between 9 months and 1.5 years.
This is the biggest advantage of hyaluronic acid fillers. If you do not like the filler or if a complication occurs, an enzyme called "Hyaluronidase" (melting injection) can be administered, entirely melting and resetting the filler within 24 hours.
