General Information About the Technology
Microscopic Cross-Sectional Imaging in the Eye
Yes. Thanks to the OCT Angiography (OCT-A) option on the device, the finest capillary network of the retina can be imaged in 3D within seconds without the need to inject any medication or dye into the patient's arm (without any needle sticks).
The imaging process is completely contactless, painless, and radiation-free (it uses light waves). Thanks to the automatic eye-tracking (AccuTrack) feature, even if the patient blinks or moves their eye during the scan, the device detects the movement and compensates for it, preventing imaging errors.
Glaucoma is a disease that slowly and insidiously kills the optic nerves. The REVO 60 device measures the Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer (RNFL) and Ganglion cell analysis with millimeter precision, ensuring the disease is caught and halted at a very early stage before it causes blindness.
