General Information About the Technology
High Resolution and Comfortable Diagnosis
The device's "Ultra-short magnet (Short Bore)" design reduces the magnet length to just 131 centimeters. Thanks to this design, in many scans, the patient's head or a part of their body remains completely outside the bore (in the open space). This largely prevents the feeling of restriction and panic.
In older MRI systems, for whole-body scans, the patient had to be taken out and the coils had to be changed manually. Thanks to Tim technology, the device is equipped with smart receivers everywhere; the patient lies on the table, and the device rapidly performs scans of different regions (neck, back, waist) in a single session without stopping.
MRI machines do not use X-rays like an X-ray or tomography scan. They operate solely on a 1.5 Tesla magnetic field (magnet) of massive strength and radio waves. For this reason, it can be used completely safely without radiation risk, even in children and appropriately selected pregnant women.
