Fast Scanning and Low-Dose Radiation
It means that the detectors inside the device capture 32 thin layer (slice) photos in a single rotation of the tube (in a time as short as 0.5 seconds). As the number of slices increases, organs can be examined in extreme detail, in slices even thinner than a millimeter (0.6 mm); millimeter-sized hidden tumors or fractures will not be missed.

By calculating the patient's weight and the targeted area, the device keeps the radiation administered to a minimum (at the lowest necessary level). In this way, routine lung or bone scans are safely performed with very low doses.
In addition to routine Brain, Chest, and Abdomen scans, angiography procedures with contrast injected into the veins (Pulmonary or Carotid CT Angiography), virtual colonoscopy, and detailed bone (3D reconstruction) imaging are easily performed.
