Test Process and Preparation
The test evaluates 4 main areas: Personal-Social development (communication with people), Fine Motor development (hand-eye coordination), Language development (hearing, understanding, and speaking), and Gross Motor development (sitting, walking, jumping).
The test is administered by expert psychologists or trained healthcare personnel. The child is given various tasks using simple toys like colored blocks, bells, or strings, and their reactions are observed and marked on a form while playing.
This is not a 'pass/fail' or intelligence test. If the child is unable to perform age-appropriate tasks, they are evaluated as 'suspect' or 'delayed'. In this case, home-based supportive activities are recommended to the family, and the test is repeated after a while to monitor development.
