and Transparency Statement

As Private Ünye Çakırtepe Hospital, we receive support from Generative AI tools to offer a flawless user experience to our visitors on our digital platforms (website and mobile application). While closely following technological developments, in accordance with our principles of transparency and responsibility, we present our framework for the use of artificial intelligence below:

• Areas of Usage: Artificial intelligence tools are used as a supporting technology in the development of our digital infrastructure, making our platforms user-friendly, and translating our Turkish content into English and German for our international patients.
• Active Human Oversight: We are aware that no matter how advanced the possibilities offered by technology are, they cannot replace human expertise. Therefore, all code, translation, and content outputs obtained using artificial intelligence tools are manually inspected and approved by our expert teams before publication.
• Exclusion from Medical Scope: Artificial intelligence systems are never used under any circumstances to make medical diagnoses, plan treatments, give medical advice, or make direct patient referrals.
• Personal Data Security: No personal data or medical history belonging to our patients and visitors can be used to train public artificial intelligence models or shared with third-party systems. All our artificial intelligence usage processes are carried out in full compliance with the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law) and relevant health legislation.
